On July 31, the National Art Fund talent training project "Chinese Traditional literature Character Plastic Art Design talent Training" was held in Yanhe Culture and Art Museum, Liangxiang Campus of Beijing Institute of Technology。The ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Qiao Yu, the project leader, and invited representatives of training experts and trainees from all over the country to participate。

In order to inherit the outstanding traditional Chinese culture, promote the advanced socialist culture, and cultivate high-quality applied talents, this project is approved by the National Art Fund Management Center and sponsored by the School of Design and Art of Beijing Institute of Technology。The implementation of the project aims to meet the development needs of the digital creative industry as a national strategic emerging industry against the background of the requirements of the new era of China's construction of a cultural power and firm cultural self-confidence, and implement the goal of mining leading talents who can lead the integration and innovation in the field of art design。Focusing on the fields of traditional literature and art design, focusing on the application needs of traditional Chinese culture in the new era, providing the society with more professional and noble cultural and aesthetic values, and exploring the concept and new model of interdisciplinary talent training。

Project personnel training relies on traditional Chinese literary works，Based on modern digital art and other technical means，Combining industrial design, visual communication design, game design, animated film design, comic book design, literary illustration design, commercial design and other disciplines，From the concept of design, culture, art and technology，It is proposed to meet the needs of the new development of the integration of culture, technology and art。It aims to cultivate high-quality composite talents who are future-oriented, master art theories and methods, use new technological means, have good humanistic literacy, scientific literacy and innovative spirit, and can provide new ideas for solving contemporary and future design problems in the fields of industry, culture, new media, education and animation under the background of new liberal arts。It meets the needs of compound talents training in the field of art design in China, and also responds to The Times background of improving the core competitiveness of China's art design industry and integrating with new international technologies。

For art and design professionals with certain practical experience, the program provides students with three aspects of training, including theoretical learning of art and design, digital means to improve skills, and integration of innovative practice and creation。During the registration phase of the project, many qualified registration materials were received from all over the country, and the organizers organized experts to review the registration materials and finally admitted 30 students。The majors of admitted students cover Chinese painting, watercolor painting, oil painting, sculpture, industrial design, illustration design, game design, animation design, installation art design, fashion design, arts and crafts, etc.The trainees consist of professionals, university teachers, practitioners of art groups and freelance artists related to the training content，To achieve interdisciplinary and multi-field talent selection。

The training period of this project is from July 31, 2023 to November 5, 2023, with a total training time of 63 days, including 30 days of offline centralized teaching. Finally, the completed works of the trainees of this talent training are planned to be exhibited to the public at the end of the year。
